Jota 'crazy Celtic love' for Ange Postecoglou detailed as ex-teammate explains match made in heaven
Jota and Ange Postecoglou had a "crazy love" for each other at Celtic and were a match made in heaven, says Christopher Jullien.
Postecoglou signed the Portuguese winger, initially on loan from Benfica for a season before making it permanent for £6million. That clause was triggered because of Jota's superb output, scoring 13 and assisting 14 in that first loan season, going on to add 15 and 12 the following campaign.
That earned him a record-breaking £25m move to Saudi Pro League side Al-Ittihad last summer, although that didn't go according to plan and he has since moved to Rennes in the French top flight. Another man in Ligue 1 is former teammate Christopher Jullien and he has been telling L'Equipe what to expect from the new man.

He said "He makes the effort, is certainly not individualistic, and only uses dribbling as a last resort. He tries to combine a lot. "Ange Postecoglou and him; it was crazy love, because the coach asked him to favour the splits, the one-twos. And it was totally him.
"He is someone nice to everyone. No one said a bad word about him at Celtic. He wants to succeed. He tries to put all the ingredients on his side to be at the top."
