Check out the video highlights from DHL Stadium in Cape Town where the Springboks overcame Wales 30-14 to win the series 2-1.
South Africa dominated the early exchanges and held a 10-0 lead by the 16th minute after Handre Pollard slotted an early penalty before crossing for the opening try which he also converted.
Midway through the half, Wales struck when Tommy Reffell crossed for his first Test try after Nick Tompkins and George North laid the groundwork in the build-up.
Springboks held the edge throughout
Dan Biggar added the extras and reduced the deficit to two points courtesy of a 33rd minute penalty but the Boks struck back in the 38th minute when Bongi Mbonambi scored their second try, off the back of a lineout drive, and Pollard succeeded with the conversion to give his side a 17-8 lead at half-time.
Wales were fastest out of the blocks in the second half and two further Biggar penalties meant the Boks held a narrow 17-14 lead by the 48th minute. That would be the last time they would score points, however, as the home side took control of proceedings.
Bok captain Siya Kolisi crossed for their second try five minutes later, which Pollard converted, and the Bok fly-half added two penalties in the game’s closing stages which secured the result and the series triumph for the Boks.
