And Just Like That star reacts to Kim Cattrall cameo
And Just Like That season 2 spoilers follow.
Last month it was confirmed that Kim Cattrall is set to return as Samantha Jones in the season two finale of Sex and the City spin-off And Just Like That….
But before you get too excited, Variety reported that Cattrall has filmed a cameo for the episode, where she will speak to her former best friend Carrie Bradshaw on the phone, rather than in person.

Variety added that Cattrall filmed the cameo on March 22 in New York City, without interacting with the other stars of the series, including Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis, as well as series creator Michael Patrick King.
With Cattrall's cameo confirmed, And Just Like That… star Evan Handler, who plays Charlotte's husband Harry, shared his reaction to Samantha's return to the show with People.
"I think it is great. I do." Handler said. "Apparently, [her cameo] was shot in the garage somewhere with no contact with anybody, so the only place I have to welcome her is into my living room when it airs on television."
Handler went on to add that he found out Cattrall would be appearing on the series final when everyone else did, through the media: "I learned it the same day you did."

Cattrall had previously declined to take part in And Just Like That… and has also hit out at the show's portrayal of Samantha in the past.
In season one of the HBO show it was revealed that Samantha had moved to London after being fired as Carrie's literary agent. The two did make up eventually however, following the death of Carrie's husband Mr Big.
Season two of And Just Like That... premieres later this month, the show will also feature John Corbett reprising his role as Carrie's former boyfriend Aidan Shaw.
And Just Like That, the sequel to Sex and the City, airs on Max in the US and Sky Comedy and NOW in the UK.
