Ever wonder how Justin Bieber stays in such great shape when he isn’t selling out concerts or winning Grammys? We have all your answers in this week’s episode of Off Season.

We know and love Bieber for his chart-topping songs and for his swoon-worthy looks, but not everyone knows how skilled he is on the ice. The Canadian native is a seasoned hockey player and has been a fan of the sport for years.

Even with his busy life and booming music career, Bieber makes time to play in a league. He’s been spotted at the Los Angeles Kings Valley Ice Center with his on/off girlfriend, Selena Gomez, cheering him on. Looks like Bieber is wheeling both on and off the ice.

He got a taste of playing like a pro at the 2017 NHL All-Star Celebrity Shootout. Bieber was able to keep up with current NHL stars Connor McDavid of the Edmonton Oilers and Patrick Kane of the Chicago Blackhawks. He said to the NHL about the night, “This is one of the highlights of my life. For real.”

Bieber has also been known to show off his hockey skills on his Instagram. He posted this video of him scoring a penalty goal, successfully faking out the goalie, and celebrating with a bit of a victory dance. His fans seem to love seeing his sporty side; the vid got over a million likes.

Hockey definitely helps keep Bieber in amazing shape. According to Livestrong, the average person burns about 500 calories per hour playing hockey. Team sports are also great for bonding with teammates and can be helpful for emotional well-being. Looks like I’ll need to get myself a pair of skates…

Keep up the good work, Biebs!
