Juventus sporting director Fabio Paratici has confirmed the club intend to retain manager Massimiliano Allegri amid interest from other top European clubs.

There has been speculation suggesting Arsene Wenger could leave Premier League side Arsenal at the end of the season, although he has reportedly told the club he wants to stay at the Emirates, while La Liga giants Barcelona will be without a manager in the summer when Luis Enrique leaves at the end of the season.

“We’re happy with him, he’s had great results with us,” Paratici told reporters as quoted by  Football Italia.

“He’s one of the world’s best coaches, we’re happy to continue with Allegri - very happy in fact. He's a great person and a great coach, we have no doubts about him.

“We have every intention of moving forward with him.”

Paratici also commented on transfer speculation, revealing the club are monitoring Lyon midfielder  Corentin Tolisso, who has scored six goals in 25 Ligue 1 appearances this season.

“It’s clear there are players who play at a high level, and every big team follows them. Tolisso is very good, he’s a player all the big teams are following," Paratici continued.

“You follow a lot of players, then going further depends on certain things. Those we follow are all of value, then the transfer market is also about opportunities and you can’t put all your eggs in one basket.”

Allegri looks set to win a third consecutive Serie A title with Juventus this season with the club currently eight points clear at the top of the table.
