Juventus expectations set out before Champions League clash against Aston Villa
Juventus legend Claudio Marchisio has admitted that a draw would be a good result as the Old Lady prepare to go toe-to-toe with Aston Villa on Wednesday night in the Champions League group phase.
Marchisio, who played 389 times for the Bianconeri and 55 times for the Italian national team, told Gazzetta dello Sport that his old club should not be disappointed with a draw against Unai Emery's side despite their desire to come away from Villa Park with all three points.
"Juventus' mentality is to always go on the pitch to win," the 38-year-old admitted.

"But given the eight absentees, even a draw away from home without new injuries might not be a bad result. These evaluations, however, are made in the ninetieth minute, not before."
Thiago Motta's side are experiencing a small injury crisis, particularly in midfield, as they travel to the West Midlands without former Villan Douglas Luiz and long-time Claret and Blue target Weston McKennie.
After winning their first two Champions League fixture this campaign, against PSV Eindhoven and RB Leipzig respectively, they have stumbled in their last two, losing to Stuttgart and only managing a draw against LOSC Lille.
The Old Lady sit sixth in Serie A despite still not losing a game, their seven draws out of 13 games meaning they haven't been able to climb any higher in the table.
As Villa undergo a rough patch of form, without a win in six games in all competitions, the European fixture against the Italian could prove a massive opportunity to pick up a statement win on the biggest stage and turn around their fortunes.
