She told co-host Susanna Reid: "The problem is, I feel like I'm just boring everyone to death really because it ends up with the same thing, which is stable but actually in between when I’m not talking to you there are big ups and big downs.

“Not big ups really, small improvements and worrying downs as well.”

"The last few days have been pretty stable so we are keeping everything crossed,” she added.

Garraway has two children with Draper, daughter Darcey, 14, and 11-year-old son Billy.

The TV star recently told how tough it was not being able to be with Draper on their wedding anniversary.

She said on GMB: “What an extraordinary thing. I won’t be able to see him today.

“I kind of hoped I would but it hasn’t worked out that way for the visit… But maybe it would be a bit strange anyway. So it’s a tough day.”
