The Princess of Wales has become known for her championing of affordable jewellery brands, but the piece she wore for her latest royal visit is one of our favourites yet.
Kate stepped out in West Yorkshire yesterday (26 September) wearing a chic forest green Burberry suit, which she'd styled with a chunky gold chain necklace and gold hoop earrings embellished with freshwater pearls.
She's been seen in the earrings before – they're Shyla London's 'Rosalia' style, £68 and currently sold out – but the necklace stole the show. It's believed to be from New York jewellery label Laura Lombardi, and we think it'd be perfect for teaming with just about every outfit in our wardrobe.
The ideal 'cool girl' accessory, the gold-plated 'Portrait' necklace feels much more modern than the statement heirlooms that the Royal Family usually favour. It's a minimalist piece that we can actually see ourselves wearing every day to bring some contemporary edge to our looks.
Let's take a close-up look of Kate wearing our new go-to necklace:
Laura Lombardi describes itself as "known for its contemporary approach to traditional jewellery design".
"Through creating bold chains and sculptural earrings, Laura Lombardi balances a raw industrial style, influenced by the designer’s native New York with classical motifs from Italy to create jewellery that feels of the old world and new," the website reads.
