Katsina Unted's Udechukwu delighted with brace

The former Chanji Boys’ midfielder wants to examine all offers properly before deciding on the next club to play for

Chinedu Udechukwu is delighted that his goals helped Katsina United defeat Rivers United in a rescheduled Nigerian topflight encounter.

The striker struck in both halves to grant the Chanji Boys a 2-0 win over Pride of Rivers. And the result saw the Baldwin Bazuaye-led side zoom to the tenth position on the log with 25 points from a possible 57.

"As a team, we just tried to push ourselves. It was good to win by a good margin against Rivers United and it's a great feeling, especially as a striker, to score two goals," Udechukwu told Goal.

"I was extremely happy with my input to the victory. The team did a great job. I hope to continue like this. I was pleasantly delighted by the understanding between myself and my teammates. It's my hope that I get better to help Kastina United achieve a lot in the year 2017."

"The goals should be been more than two. I feel we deserved to win the game. With 25 points in the bag for us we can continue to push up the table in the second round," he concluded.
