The attacker featured prominently for the Soweto giants in the first round of the season, but he's fallen down the pecking order since beginning of 2017.
According to a source within the Amakhosi camp, the Katsvairo could either be loaned out for the upcoming season or be shown the exit door if the two parties reach an agreement before the end of this term.
"There are ongoing discussions about his future, but nothing has been decided as yet. He could be loaned out or could leave permanently, but we are not sure at this stage," the source told Goal.
The Zimbabwean joined Chiefs at the start of the season alongside former teammate Edmore Chirambadare from Chicken Inn.
He has scored two goals in 14 appearances in all official competitions for the Naturena-based outfit.
Katsvairo's current deal is set to expire at the end of June 2019, having signed a three-year contract in 2016.
