Kelly Rowland expecting her second child

Kelly Rowland is expecting her second child with husband Tim Weatherspoon.

The Destiny's Child member shared the happy news as she graced the November cover of Women's Health, showing off her baby bump.

"We had been talking about it loosely, and then COVID happened, and we were just like, 'Let's see what happens,' " Rowland told the publication, adding that she became pregnant quickly.

It's the second baby for the couple who are already parents to five-year-old Titan Jewell.

Sharing the cover to Instagram, the Stole hitmaker wrote: “SURPRISE!!’

The 39-year-old admitted her reluctance at disclosing her pregnancy publicly amid the coronavirus pandemic as well as economic downturn and a racial reckoning in the US.

“But you still want to remind people that life is important. And being able to have a child…I’m knocking at 40’s door in February. Taking care of myself means a lot to me," she said.

Back in 2015 when her son was a year old, Rowland said she was "nervous" about welcoming a second child thanks to Titan being an "easy baby".

"I feel like this journey with Titan has been so easy, so I’m kind of nervous to have a second one, but I still want one more," she shared.

Rowland and Weatherspoon tied the knot in Costa Rica in May 2014, with her former group mates Beyonce and Michelle Williams among those in attendance at the nuptials.
