Unlike her sister Kylie, who has experimented with all the colors in the rainbow, Kendall Jenner tends to stick to her signature dark brunette hair. But today, October 16th, Kendall debuted long blonde extensions, and is it just us, or does this feel like the summer beachy look we've been missing as the weather has turned cold?
Jenner hasn't yet shown off her hair transformation on her own Instagram, but celebrity hair extension artist Priscilla Valles posted a pic of the model to her feed, crediting famous hairstylist Jen Atkin for the style and colorist Tracey Cunningham for the dirty blonde shade.
"Ethereal Extensions, No problem @kendalljenner," Valles captioned her post.
Jenner has gone blonde before. In September 2019, she used her (very brief) lighter transformation to walk the runways at London Fashion Week and Milan Fashion Week. However, that hue was a true sunny blonde with some darker exposed roots, while her latest switch-up is more of a dirty blonde shade. Check it out for yourself below:
Moreover, Jenner's hair this time is long. Really long. It's so long that the frame of her Instagram cuts off the ends, but it looks like it goes at least to her waist. However, it's not clear how much additional length they gave the model.
Yesterday, Jenner posted a picture to her Instagram Story (which was then captured by a fan account) of what seemed to be her natural hair in ponytail to show just how long it's gotten.
Jenner's extensions and color change grabbed our attention so much, we didn't even notice those freckles at first glance. Whether they're the work of a filter or some clever makeup, they are sending us right back to a non-quarantine summer. Maybe Jenner needed those vibes, too.
