Key boardroom figures board Newcastle United flight to Riyadh
Newcastle United have jetted off to Riyadh for warm weather training camp in Saudi Arabia.
The Magpies included a senior squad with a sprinkling of young players including Ellis Stanton, Jay Turner-Cooke and Ben Parkinson. Notably, the club's sporting director Paul Mitchell was also on board the morning flight from Newcastle as well as commercial chief Peter Silverstone.
Newcastle will hold an open training session in Riyadh tomorrow while there will also be an online chat with supporters direct from the team hotel.

Speaking about the trip Howe, in his Press conference after the 3-1 win over Nottingham Forest, said: "We probably don’t want one [an international break] at this moment in time but it’s there.
"We’ve got an extended break as well because we play on the Monday so players will go away, we go to Saudi Arabia and come back.
"We will try and keep the feeling we have now because we know we’re in a good position and building our season but we have some key games to come."
The training facilities that will be used by Newcastle will be Al Awwal Park, the home of Ronaldo's club Al-Nassr. The Magpies will spend four days in the Middle East before returning to Tyneside to prepare for their next clash against West Ham United.
Howe's side take on a West Ham side who are slumped in 14th place in the Premier League table with 12 points. Newcastle's victory over Forest lifted them to eighth place in the standings.
