EUROPE'S biggest-ever women’s sporting event is coming to Southampton.
The UEFA Women’s Euro 2022 is coming to the city next week and is bringing with it days of fantastic football fun.
Free Fan Festivals are set to be hosted around the city as supporters gear-up for match days on on July 7, July 11 and July 15.
Councillor Satvir Kaur, leader of Southampton City Council said: “We are proud to host the UEFA Women’s EURO 2022 tournament here in Southampton.
"The excitement in the city is building as there is now less than one week to go until the first match here at St Mary’s Stadium, which is Norway vs Northern Ireland.
"Events like these are great to help cement Southampton on the map, bring people together and grow the local economy.”

What time are the matches?
St Mary’s will host three matches this month starting this week.
On July 7, the venue will host Norway v Northern Ireland.
This is followed by Austria v Northern Ireland on July 11, and Northern Ireland v England on July 15.
What's going on?
Free Fan Festivals will be in Southampton on match days on July 7, 11 and 15.
The parties will be held from midday until 6pm and will include a range of activities and entertainment.
This includes live music, entertainment and performers, displays showcasing the history of women’s football, food and drink, football taster sessions and exhibits from competing nations.
On July 15, fans will have the chance to hear Southampton's very own Women’s Euro Anthem, created by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra with support from Southampton Music Hub.
They will be joined by local schools, singers and musicians.
