Aston Villa face Crystal Palace this afternoon in search of their first victory in a month after failing to win any of their last five matches in all competitions.

After dropping two points in the final stages against Bournemouth, Villa then tasted defeat to Palace in the Carabao Cup before losing heavily at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Unai Emery's side then lost in bizarre circumstances against Club Brugge when Tyrone Mings picked the ball up inside the box and Liverpool inflicted a fourth consecutive defeat at Anfield.

Villa were without Ross Barkley for all four defeats, while Matty Cash picked up a calf problem at Tottenham, but both players have now returned to fitness are available for selection. On Friday, Emery explained that four of his players will miss the match against Palace; Ezri Konsa, Jacob Ramsey, Amadou Onana and Boubacar Kamara.

Konsa suffered a hip injury in England's win at Greece last Thursday and returned to Villa after a scan. He was ruled out of the match against Palace, but Emery is hoping the defender could return for Villa's next match.

Asked specifically about Konsa and Onana, Emery explained: "They have small injuries. They have to rest and recover. Each day is important. Maybe [they] could come back for the next match, but I have to focus on the players we have now."

Possible return date: November 27, Juventus (H)

Amadou Onana

Belgium international Onana picked up a foot injury against Italy last week, and as Emery revealed, the midfielder isn't far away from returning.

Jacob Ramsey

Ramsey suffered a hamstring injury against Liverpool before the November international break and was ruled out for at least a couple of weeks. If his recovery goes well, then he could potentially be back for the trip to Chelsea.

Possible return date: December 1, Chelsea (A)

Boubacar Kamara

Kamara strained his hamstring late on against Liverpool and is also expected to be sidelined for at least one more week.
