If you struggle with KP (aka keratosis pilaris) or “strawberry skin,” you’re not alone. Usually found on the upper arms, thighs, cheeks and bum, the tiny, acne-like bumps can be uncomfortable and hard to get rid of. Luckily, First Aid Beauty (the brand behind a few ITK editor favorites) has just the thing: KP Bump Eraser Body Scrub.
This vegan body scrub, retailing for $30 on Amazon and at Sephora, uses glycolic and lactic acids and pumice buffing beads to “improve skin’s texture and smooth away bumps, roughness, and scaly areas.” While these chemical and physical exfoliants mean business, the scrub is safe for sensitive skin.
The brand recommends using the scrub one to two times a week in the shower. Simply apply the scrub to wet skin and gently massage it onto any problem areas, then rinse it away and moisturize. While this scrub is great for tackling “buttne” and KP, it’s not for use on your face.
One pleased Amazon reviewer shared that they saw “results after one use:” “I was shocked at how well it worked after only one use. I’m excited to see how my arms look and feel after I finish the bottle.”
Another shared: “Excellent product, I saw improvement after just one use. It is pricey but you don’t use much and only use it 2 or 3 times a week so it should last a couple of months. Well worth the price, out of all the products I’ve used this has by far been the best.”
Give your skin some TLC and get it looking its best in time for the warmer months by bringing this scrub home ASAP.
