Kylian Mbappe 'banished' from Monaco training after furious bust-up

Kylian Mbappe was sent home from Monaco training after a furious altercation with a teammate, according to reports in France.

French newspaper L'Equipe say the teenager was left out of Monaco's sqaud to play Metz on Saturday after a spat with Andrea Raggi.

The striker allegedly refused to leave the training pitch before technical staff forcibly removed the teenager.

The development represents a huge twist in the ongoing transfer saga around the 18-year-old, who has been the subject of bids multiple from Real Madrid and Arsenal.

Asked why Mbappe was missing from the Monaco team that beat Metz 1-0, manager Leonardo Jardim said: "It is our duty to protect him at the moment."

PSG have recently dismissed reports suggesting they had made a £140m bid for the 18-year-old, but the Paris club is understood to be the forward's preferred destination if he leaves Monaco.

Mbappé is a PSG fan and the club have been in the running for the 18-year-old Monaco striker who is wanted by all of Europe’s leading clubs.

Barcelona may still make a move for the French international following Neymar’s departure.
