Paris Saint-Germain sporting director Leonardo says he expects Kylian Mbappe’s future to be resolved soon after his stunning display against Bayern Munich.

Mbappe, who produced a brilliant performance and scored twice to inspire PSG to a 3-2 Champions League win over Bayern on Wednesday, has less than 18 months left on his contract and has been linked with Liverpool and Real Madrid.

Neymar’s contract also expires at the end of next season and he has been linked with a return to Barcelona.

But, speaking after PSG beat Bayern in the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final tie, Leonardo told Sky Italia: "The situations should quickly materialise and be clearer. We are going to focus on the present.”

Mbappe was described as a talent like no other in world football by PSG team-mate Julian Draxler after his double against Bayern.

Draxler said: “He has qualities like nobody else in the world. We needed his speed.”

Mbappe said: “We will attack the second leg with the same determination. As I said in Barcelona, I like these type of matches. I was not always smiling, but I am not here to hide, I like to play these type of matches and to be decisive.”
