Kylian Mbappe's stunning contract clauses revealed - from private jets to personal staff
The astonishing contract demands Kylian Mbappe made when he joined PSG from Monaco last season have been revealed.
The teenage wonderkid left Monaco for the mega-rich French champions on-loan last season but signed a permanent deal for £162million in the summer.
According to Der Spiegel, who are working alongside whistle-blowers Football Leaks, Mbappe made a number of extra requests of the Ligue 1 giants after agreeing a deal worth a staggering £48million over five years.

It is claimed that Mbappe, in the summer of 2017, initially asked Monaco to raise his contract by 16 times the salary he had negotiated 15 months previously. Monaco baulked at figures and decided to cash in.
His father, Wilfried, negotiated with PSG sporting director Antero Henrique over his contract. A deal was agreed on a sliding scale which saw him earn £6.1m in his debut season and would increase every season thereafter, eventually reaching £10.5m in the final year of his contract.
The new report alleges that on top of a signing on fee of £4.3m Mbappe wanted to immediately be made the club’s highest-paid player ahead of Neymar if he wins the Ballon d’Or.
PSG denied that clause, along with Mbappe’s request for a private jet for 50 hours per year, which he would have used to travel around the world at no extra cost.
However, despite rejecting those two clauses, the club did agree to pay around £26,000 a month to cover his rent the costs of the star’s personal staff – a caretake, driver and a bodyguard.
Among other claims are that Jorge Mendes, the agent of Jose Mourinho and Cristiano Ronaldo, received “at least €7.25million” for his part in the transfer – despite not being the player’s agent.
A lawyer for previous club Monaco reportedly added Mendes’ name to the transfer agreement in response for his part in driving up the value of the transfer.
It is also claimed that Mbappe’s family asked for monetary compensation “should PSG be banned from the Champions League” amid worries over Financial Fair Play.
PSG, Mbappe and Monaco have all so far refused to comment on the reports.
No matter his demands, the decision to splash out on the 19-year-old is paying dividends already with Mbappe forming a deadly partnership with Neymar and Edinson Cavani.
He has already scored 13 goals in 12 Ligue 1 and Champions League matches this season, a marked improvement on his 17 goal haul from 35 matches last season.
And Mbappe’s value to the PSG is only going to rise in the future as well with world football on the lookout for a new superstar to replace the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi when that duo eventually retires.
