Atletico dominated but struggled without suspended top scorer Radamel Falcao until Raul Garcia bundled in from close range in the 72nd minute but Garcia grabbed a scrappy equaliser for the hosts three minutes from time.

Raul Garcia plied his trade for 90 minutes during the match. The midfielder scored in the 72nd minute and took three shots.

Los Bermellones had possession for a mere 38.1 per cent of the contest. Mallorca had six shots, including two on target.

Kevin Garcia made the biggest impact of any Mallorca substitute after coming on for Michael Pereira in the 64th minute, as he scored one goal.

Mallorca's attack was controlled with ease and no player had more than one shot. Dudu Aouate pitched in with five stops.

Atletico maintained control of the ball for 61.9 per cent of the match of the match, a testament to their movement and linking play in the open field. They got off seven shots, including six on goal, during the match.

The three attempts by Diego Costa were the most of any Atletico player. The combination of Filipe Luis to Koke was the most common during the match, as the two players connected 19 times.
