Lady Maroons swing past Lincoln County

Mar. 15—Pulaski was attempting to continue a hot start on offense in game two of the regular season on Thursday against Lincoln County. This one was over in a hurry as well, as the Lady Maroons hit early and often en route to a 15-0 victory over the Lady Patriots in just three innings of action.

Bella Ellis had the high-mark with four RBI's in the ball game coming off a grand slam. Brooklyn Thomas, Chloe Carrol, Novaleigh Baker, Claire Hamilton and Ryann Sowder each had two RBI's apiece. Thomas and Carrol led the way with three hits in the game. Thomas had a brilliant game on the mound as well, pitching a no-hitter in her three innings of work to go along with eight strikeouts of the nine batters she faced.

Pulaski starts off their campaign with a 2-0 record and the Maroons will be back in action on Friday hosting Cumberland County, before traveling to Mercer County on Saturday at 2 p.m.
