Lancashire batted nervelessly to clinch a comprehensive eight-wicket Friends Life t20 victory over winless reigning champions Leicestershire in a topsy-turvy North Division clash at Old Trafford.
Leicestershire recovered from 29 for three to post an impressive 179 for four - with Abdul Razzaq (61 from 51 balls) and Matt Boyce (63no from 38 balls) taking the attack to the bowlers.
Glen Chapple took none of the damage, returning two for 10 in four overs.
Lancashire chased down their target with an over to spare and with just two wickets down, with Stephen Moore (54), Tom Smith (42), Steven Croft (41no) and Karl Brown (39no) all performing.
Meanwhile, South African duo Herschelle Gibbs and Johann Myburgh steered Durham to a five-wicket win over the Derbyshire in a tight game at Derby.
Gibbs made 38 and Myburgh added 46 from 40 balls as the Dynamos passed the Falcons' 141 for six with seven balls to spare when a full toss from former Durham paceman Mark Turner went for four byes.
Usman Khawaja top scored with 36 for the Falcons but Scott Borthwick, Liam Plunkett and Mitch Claydon each took two wickets to restrict their total and the Dynamos survived some late scares to claim their second victory.
