Langer leads Senior British Open

Bernhard Langer got his British Senior Open off to a fine start with a six-under 64 to take the first-round lead at Turnberry.

The German, who won the title at Carnoustie in 2010, managed six birdies and zero bogeys as he showcased some fine putting in sunny conditions in Scotland.

Mark McNulty was one stroke behind after carding a bogey-free 65.

Five men were tied for third, two shots off the lead.
