Large artic lorry 'fails to stop after crash with Peugeot' near busy roundabout

A LARGE articulated lorry reportedly drove off without swapping details after it was in a crash with a car near a busy roundabout near Poole.

A crash involving the lorry and a blue Peugeot 107 happened on the A35 near Bakers Arms Roundabout earlier this week on Thursday, June 1, at around 9pm.

It is reported that the large articulated lorry failed to stop at the scene, but the driver of the Peugeot did not sustain any serious injuries.

Police are appealing for witnesses or anybody with dash cam footage to come forward and help with their enquiries.

Police Constable Ashlea Gale, of Dorset Police, said: “I am carrying out enquiries to establish what happened and identify the lorry involved.

“I would ask anyone who was travelling in the area and saw what happened, or may have captured anything of relevance on dashcam, to please come forward.”
