Largie Ramazani blow leaves Leeds United and Daniel Farke with January transfer question to answer
Leeds United recorded their second win in a row in the Championship on Tuesday night as they came out as 2-1 victors against Watford. The Whites stormed out of the blocks and were 2-0 up within the first 10 minutes.
Largie Ramazani opened the scoring with just four minutes on the clock. Three minutes later, Brenden Aaronson doubled their lead with what turned out to be the winning goal.
The result leaves Leeds in second place in the Championship table, although Sunderland, in first place, and Burnley, in third, have a game in hand. Even after just 11 games it looks like it’s going to be fine margins in the race for the automatic promotion spots.

It means teams, Including Leeds will be looking for every little advantage that they can get. In another blow for the Whites summer signing Ramazani was forced off in the first half with an ankle injury, with Daniel Farke facing an anxious wait as to how serious the problem is.
He’s added to an injury list that includes defender Max Wober, and central midfielders Ethan Ampadu and Ilia Gruev, who are both long-term absentees. The absentees places more emphasis on the upcoming January transfer window.
The winter window could be a chance for the club to bring in players who may just make the difference in the second half of the campaign. But Farke will have to make a decision on what position to prioritise.
The optimism for Leeds is the success of the summer recruits. Ao Tanaka has stood out for the last two games against Sheffield United and Watford.
Ramazini continues to impress, with his injury coming as a blow. He was however replaced by Manor Solomon who has had a positive start to life at Elland Road and could be given more chances depending on Ramazini’s injury.
