Las Vegas 'calm' ahead of Mayweather vs McGregor showdown

On Saturday Floyd Mayweather will face Conor McGregor in Las Vegas in one of the most hyped fights in boxing history.

With no belt on the line the contest is largely for entertainment, and considerable financial gain, with both fighters expected to earn over £100m.

The Telegraph's Boxing Correspondent Gareth A Davies reporting from Las Vegas says there feeling of anticipation in the city ahead of the showdown.

"It's a huge week. It is predicted to break all box office records. From Tuesday onwards this thing goes big."
