Latest Chelsea injury news and return dates after five missed Bournemouth
Enzo Fernandez was one of five players absent during Chelsea's 1-0 win over Bournemouth due to illness.
The Argentine World Cup and Copa America winner has been entrusted with the captain's armband this season and has played the full 90 minutes in all of the Blues' first three Premier League games. That is why it was a surprise to see him not in the team to face the Cherries on Saturday evening.
At the Vitality Stadium, Chelsea fought hard to come away with all three points. Jadon Sancho provided the match-winning assist to Christopher Nkunku, as they climb to seventh in the table.
It was their second win of the season following the 1-1 draw to Crystal Palace before the international break. Ahead of next weekend's game against West Ham, Enzo Maresca will be hopeful to have almost a full squad ahead available.
With that said, football.london has taken a look at the latest injury news.
