Latest on Hull City star Mohamed Belloumi's ACL surgery and Cody Drameh injury
Mohamed Belloumi has taken a huge step towards getting his rehabilitation underway after undergoing surgery on his ACL injury.
The transfer deadline day signing has been sidelined since going off injured in the final stages of City's 1-0 defeat at Oxford United last month, joining fellow summer arrival Liam Millar in suffering a serious knee injury.
Belloumi opted to return to Algeria before heading to Doha in Qatar for his surgery, which has now been completed. He will recover at home before heading back to England to continue his rehab, and caretaker boss Andy Dawson admits his return can't come soon enough.

Hours after coming out of surgery, the 22-year-old sent his well wishes to the rest of the players and Dawson ahead of Saturday's 3-1 defeat at Middlesbrough.
"Do you know what? Mo is an absolutely top lad. We were on the bus from the hotel and he put in a text into the group wishing the lads all the best. He sent me a text, and I thought, you know that they're the little things that matter.
"You guys will know that in any line of work, it's the little things; the way people portray themselves and I thought that is top. I asked him how his leg was; he's just had his operation, so fingers crossed it's all gone well. He's back home now, and hopefully, we'll see him soon because he's a top lad and a top, top player.
"Yes, hopefully, in the next two or three weeks," Dawson added when asked when the winger will return to the training ground to begin his rehabilitation."
Meanwhile, Cody Drameh left the action in the second half at the Riverside Stadium after being hurt during a Boro corner, but it's expected he'll be OK to face Blackburn Rovers at the MKM Stadium this weekend.
