The Republic of Ireland striker missed Wolves’s derby win over Shrewsbury last weekend but should recover from a thigh injury in time to feature.

Midfielder David Davis will miss out as he serves a one-match ban, with David Edwards, Lee Evans and Kevin Foley looking to get the nod.

Sheffield United winger Jamie Murphy could make his first appearance since the end of August at Wolves.

The Scot (groin) has missed the last four matches, but is hoping to be included in the squad as the Blades bid to end a run of five straight league defeats.

Midfielder Callum McFadzean (ankle) will miss out, but recent signing Marlon King is expected to resume up front after making his debut in last week's home defeat to Preston.

Another recent arrival, winger Ryan Hall, is hoping to start again - he also made his debut last week - while defender/midfielder Conor Coady, on loan from Liverpool, and defender Sean McGinty are in contention.
