Next season marks the 125th anniversary for Newcastle United since their foundation. The 'Magpies' - who became the club we know today when Newcastle East End FC and Newcastle West End FC joined forces - are recognised by their famously distinct black and white striped jersey that they proudly don at St. James' Park.
In homage to the significant milestone in the club's glittering history, Puma have supposedly fashioned a strip for the 2017-18 season, and we can categorically say that the leaked images of the proposed strip embodies every single last ounce of tradition and class that the renowned Tyneside outfit demands, thanks to a series of photos provided by Footy Headlines .
Newcastle United's new kit for their 125th anniversary is stunning pic.twitter.com/HXl7PaH2lI— UNILAD Football (@UNILADFooty) April 15, 2017
If these images are definitely 100% accurate then all we can say is that the new kit is beautifully magnificent.
It seems fitting that as the club surge towards a Premier League return after their year absence that they are presented with almost regal standard attire. Newcastle - regardless of the recent falterings in the club's domestic stature - are no doubt a member of England's footballing royal family.
The notion of jazzing-up home and away kits to strengthen a club's brand can sometimes harbour a number atrocious design flaws.
However we can't seem to find any hitches when marvelling at the 'Toon's' latest alleged home kit. What a simplistically blinding shirt it is.
