Leeds United one decision away from serious issue to leave Daniel Farke with selection problem
Leeds United could face a potential selection crisis as suspensions and injuries start to pile up for manager Daniel Farke.
Wilfried Gnonto and Joe Rodon find themselves in immediate risk of a one-game suspension as they currently sit on four yellow cards each. The pair need to make it to the end of the Derby County fixture on Saturday, December 7, without picking up a yellow card along the way if they are to avoid a ban.
Left-back Junior Firpo has already served one-game of his three-game suspension, also missing the games against Swansea City and Luton Town. He received a three-match ban for violent conduct against Millwall earlier this month.

The defender, alongside Jayden Bogle, have already picked up five yellow cards this season and have already served their one-match suspensions for accumulative bookings. Whilst not at immediate risk of picking up ten bookings, this is something to keep an eye out over the next few weeks as the cut-off for that is later on in the season.
Injuries have disrupted Farke's selections so far this campaign with Ethan Ampadu, Ilia Gruev and Largie Ramazani all in the treatment room. The trio have missed a combined 31 games during their absence. Joe Gelhardt has also been out with a hip injury, but is in contention to return to the squad against Swansea on Saturday.
Ramazani is out with an ankle injury, whilst Ampadu and Gruev both suffered knee injuries in late September/early October. Speaking recently to BBC Radio Leeds, the Wales international gave an update on his recovery.
He said: "The recovery is going well. There's still a bit of healing that needs to be done but I'm quite happy with it. We've helped each other because there can be some lonely days when you're doing rehab.
"You don't want to wish there is another player with you but it's the situation we're in and we pick each other up. We're both hardworking individuals so it was naturally going to happen."
With Leeds needing to keep pace with leaders Sunderland and Sheffield United, they could ill-afford to suffer anymore suspensions or injuries. The Whites also have Burnley, West Brom and Watford hot on their heels.
