Leicester boss Nigel Pearson has revealed npower Championship rivals Leeds are interested in signing defender Matt Mills.

Mills joined for a club-record transfer from Reading last summer, believed to be in the region of around £5million.

But having been dropped for the last two matches, rumours surrounding his future at the club are beginning to spread and Pearson confirmed "there has been interest" from Leeds.

"At the moment it is very much the case that he is our player and we will utilise him like any other player here," he told BBC East Midlands. "Until that changes, that is the situation.

"He is like every other player at the club. We have a squad of players, he is one of our employees and we will see what happens."
