Leicester City will look to prevent two Premier League defeats on the bounce becoming three with Burnley the visitors to the King Power Stadium.

Brendan Rodgers’ side were beaten by high-flying Brighton last weekend after a number of tight refereeing decisions went against the Foxes.

Winless Burnley are struggling for points early in the season but were perhaps unfortunate not to come away with at least a point after a promising performance against Arsenal last time out in league action. Both clubs triumphed in the Carabao Cup in midweek to reach the fourth round.

Sean Dyche’s side have only a single point from five Premier League games so far.

Here’s all you need to know ahead of the Premier League clash.

When is the match?

The game kicks off at 3pm on Saturday 25 September at Elland Road

Where can I watch it?

The match will not be shown live on television in the United Kingdom but highlights will be shown on Match of the Day, which begins on BBC One at 10.30pm.

What is the team news?

Leicester faced a nervous wait on the fitness of Jonny Evans due to a foot injury, and the centre-back can only make the bench here. Fellow defenders Wesley Fofana and James Justin are already out on a longer-term basis.

Jay Rodriguez starred in midweek Carabao Cup action for Burnley, but the four-goal forward has not earned himself a start in the league. Marquee summer addition Maxwel Cornet, however, comes into the starting XI on the wing.

Confirmed line-ups

Leicester - Schmeichel, Ricardo Pereira, Soyuncu, Vestergaard, Bertrand, Tielemans, Ndidi, Soumare, Lookman, Vardy, Barnes.

Burnley - Pope, Lowton, Tarkowski, Mee, Taylor, McNeil, Westwood, Brownhill, Cornet, Wood, Vydra.

Odds

Leicester 8/15

Draw 3/1

Burnley 11/2

Prediction

It would be a surprise if a side of Burnley’s battling qualities were to remain without a win for much longer but this will be a tough trip to the East Midlands. The visitors may look to keep things tight but Leicester’s better attacking quality should enable them to edge out Sean Dyche’s side. Leicester City 2-1 Burnley
