Leigh Leopards have completed their latest two signings for the 2025 season, with both arriving from Super League rivals. The play-off semi-finalists have been on an announcement spree since their season came to an end, announcing the likes of Ben Condon, Tesi Niu and Isaac Liu as new additions to their squad.

While those three are all from overseas, their latest two recruits are domestic-based and have been recruited from Super League rivals Wigan Warriors and Castleford Tigers.

The Warriors have added Wigan academy prop Ryan Brown and young Castleford Tigers forward Brad Martin. Brown hasn't made his first-team appearance yet but caught the eye playing for Wigan's youth side last season and is an England Academy international. He has also played for Midlands Hurricanes and Barrow Raiders this year.

Meanwhile, Martin has started to establish himself at Super League level, making 40 appearances since his debut in 2019. Martin plays at prop or loose forward.

Leigh's head of rugby, Chris Chester said: “Ryan really impressed playing for the academy and reserves at Wigan. He’s a no-nonsense front rower who plays big minutes. With Ryan’s chances at Wigan limited I’m delighted to hand him an opportunity with Leigh Leopards in 2025.

"Brad is a prop or lock forward who has gained good experience at Castleford, and I’m delighted he is joining us for 2025. Brad is a good, all round, solid player and a good human being. He has a bright future at Leigh Leopards.”
