Lennon Miller and David Watson ranked among top 100 teenagers in world football
Lennon Miller and David Watson have been named among the top 100 most talented teenagers in world football.
Motherwell sensation Miller and Kilmarnock prodigy Watson have shot to stardom in recent seasons after a string of standout performances in the Premiership. Miller burst onto the scene at Fir Park as a 16-year-old and was monitored by Rangers during the summer, while Watson's stock has soared since being named PFA Young Player of the Year.
The rising stars have been involved for Scotland Under-21s and it seems only a matter of time before they follow the likes of Ben Doak and Tommy Conway by earning senior call-ups. And their huge potential has been recognised by CIES Football Observatory who have ranked the best young players around the globe.

Unsurprisingly, Barcelona wonderkid Lamine Yamal tops the charts after playing a starring role in Spain's Euro 2024 heroics earlier this summer. The study - which rates elite youngsters based on experience and ability - sees fellow Barca starlet Pau Cubarsi, Real Madrid forward Endrick, PSG superkid Warren Zaïre-Emery and Manchester United's Kobbie Mainoo make up the top five.
And highly-rated Miller, 18, has been placed 29th ahead of the likes of Antonio Nusa, Arthur Vermeeren and Evan Ferguson. Meanwhile 19-year-old Watson has been ranked 87th as the duo fly the flag for Scotland in the prestigious list.
CIES say that the "level of experience" is calculated on the basis of last year’s official game minutes, weighted by the sporting level of matches played.
