Lennon Miller transfer latest as Motherwell insider drops clue he's on his way to a 'BIG club'
Motherwell skipper Paul McGinn believes teammate Lennon Miller can go to the very top in the game if he can stay clear of injuries.
The teen sensation - who led the Steelmen out in their Premier Sports semi-final defeat to Rangers at Hampden - is attracting interest from the likes of Liverpool, Manchester United and Arsenal down south as well as the Gers and Celtic north of the border. Miller's display at Fir Park this season has already got Scotland fans calling for Steve Clarke to call the 18-year-old up to the senior squad, as his stock continues to rise.
Full back McGinn - who joined Motherwell from Hibs back in 2022, doesn't want to go over the top about his younger teammate but admits he will be shocked if Miller doesn't move on to bigger and better things at some point. Asked in an interview by PLZ Soccer about just how far the teen can go, he replied: "Very far.
"When I first came in, I think he came to play when he was 15 or 16 in a game where Graham Alexander was the manager. At first I thought 'who's this?' not realising it was Lennon.
"Everyone was saying straight from the word go that he's some player, and I've seen it for a few years now. Look, he'll need a bit of luck. He'll need to stay injury-free. I've seen a lot of boys come in flying, so I don't want to get too ahead of myself. But yeah I'd be surprised if he doesn't end up at a big team."
