Lennon Miller urged to resist Celtic transfer interest as ex-Hoops star unsure on Parkhead move
Celtic are one of the many clubs to have been linked with Motherwell starlet Lennon Miller after his burst onto the scene in the Scottish Premiership - but former Hoops man Mark Wilson has urged the youngster to reconsider making the switch to Parkhead.
Miller, 18, made his debut just six days after his 16th birthday, becoming Motherwell's youngest-ever player in a major competition - and he hasn't looked back from there, with 25 appearances last season and a further 11 this season, with his first top-flight goals to boot.
That has seen Celtic take a keen interest in his services - though the youngster has been told to avoid the urge to go to Celtic Park, instead being told by Wilson to make the move down south with Andy Robertson and John McGinn being used as keen examples of how to succeed in England.

Speaking exclusively to Gambling.com, Wilson said: "I’m not sure if it would be [a good move for Lennon Miller to go to Celtic]. Lennon Miller at this stage probably needs to play as many games as he possibly can. Would he break into that Celtic team at the minute? I'm not sure. I'm not saying he's not got the talent to do it, he's an incredibly talented boy.
"I would like to see him get another half-season playing for Motherwell. The world's his oyster, he's going to be an incredible footballer, he is a very good footballer, but maybe staying where he is might do him the world of good for now.
"I think he [Lennon Miller] will have major interest from clubs down south. Because you’ve seen the success of some of our young Scottish players that have moved down there, and maybe English clubs are rethinking their transfer policies and where they source their players, especially with Brexit.
"Two standout young players that have moved from Scotland to clubs down south are Andy Robertson and John McGinn. Lennon Miller can be every bit as good as them, if he gets the right move and the right advice. His dad's a very knowledgeable person in football and keeps a level head, so I'm sure he'll advise him correctly.
"It’ll be interesting to see how brave Motherwell are in terms of what they demand for him, because he’s worth a lot of money."
