The out-of-sorts hosts took the lead through a Ruben own goal following good work from the returning Patrick Ebert after just 11 minutes.

But early in the second half Sola pounced on a rebound to bring the visitors level, before turning the score completely on its head 10 minutes later from a Silva cross.

Miguel de las Cuevas ensured Osasuna left Jose Zorilla with all three points with a low finish on 69 minutes which puts them up to 15th in La Liga while Valladolid could yet be heavily involved in the relegation dogfight.

Real Valladolid are in 12th place with a record of nine wins, 12 losses and eight draws. Osasuna have a record of eight wins, 14 losses and seven draws this season, which puts them in 15th place, only four points above the relegation zone.

Kike Sola dominated the match, scoring twice for Osasuna. His goals came in the 50th and 60th minutes. Kike Sola also accumulated three shots over the course of the match, and completed 13 passes.

Goals also came from a right-footed shot by De las Cuevas in the 69th minute.

Rojillos had 49.1% of possession. Osasuna had seven shots, all of which were on target.

De las Cuevas had four shots for Osasuna, more than any of his team-mates.

Francisco Puñal was brought on to replace Alejandro Arribas in the 47th minute when the latter went down with an injury.

Solid defending combined with some poor anticipation saw Real Valladolid's attacking players were caught offside on numerous occasions. The linesman raised the flag against Valladolid seven times during the match.

The two attempts by Manucho were the most of any Real Valladolid player.
