Roberto Soldado scored 24 La Liga goals for Valencia last season

Sources close to news outlet EFE insist that the deal is likely to be done next week, with the north London club paying Los Che €30m.

A previous bid of €26m for the goalscorer had been rejected by Miroslav Djukic’s men, but his release clause is set to be paid by the Premier League club, who hope to tie up personal terms in the next few days.

Soldado has been a consistent performer for the Mestalla side since his arrival from Getafe in 2010 – last term the 28-year-old netted 24 goals in 35 appearances.

Sevilla full-back Alberto Moreno is a target for Real Madrid, according to reports in the Spanish Press.

Marca claim that Los Blancos have already enquired about the 21-year-old, who has impressed for the Andalusian side and Spain U21’s.

Current full-back Fabio Coentrao looks likely to leave this summer, with Napoli and Tottenham both linked with the Portugal international.

As such, Carlo Ancelotti’s men will look to sign the former Sevilla youth graduate and continue their transfer policy of bringing in young Spanish players.

Moreno could be available for a fee of around €5m.

Roma striker Marco Borriello is attracting interest from Malaga and Valencia, according to reports.

Several Italian media outlets including the Gazzetta dello Sport have claimed that the Liga duo are keeping tabs on the Giallorossi forward, with his future looking increasingly likely to be away from the club.

The 31-year-old has been left out of Rudi Garcia’s squad for their American tour, and has been linked with a permanent move to Genoa.

However, both Los Che and the Rosaleda side are tracking the goalscorer.

Borriello could be available for around €7m.

Yohan Benalouane has thanked clubs around Europe for their interest, including Real Madrid, but is ‘happy’ at Parma.

The defender had been linked with numerous teams over the summer, such as Arsenal, Liverpool, Inter, Milan, Roma and Los Blancos.

“I am happy here and my priority has always been Parma, even though I am honoured by the proposals that came in,” he told Sky Sport Italia.

“Real Madrid? That just means I worked well to earn their attention, but I am happy at Parma and am preparing to have a great season.

“Coach Roberto Donadoni put a lot of faith in me and thanks to that I was able to prove myself. Now it’s up to me and I must work hard to follow his instructions.”

Barcelona could make a move for Manchester City’s Spanish youngster Denis Suarez, according to reports.

The attacker’s performances at the Under-20 World Cup in Turkey this summer attracted the attention of a number of top European clubs.

But Marca believe that the Blaugrana may offer the Premier League side €4m to see him return to his home country.

Suarez left Celta Vigo in 2011 to join the Etihad Stadium team, but has so far failed to make an impression on the starting XI.
