MILLWALL have confirmed the signing of Charlie Cresswell from Leeds United on a season-long loan deal.

The central defender becomes Gary Rowett's fourth signing of the transfer window and has already trained with his new teammates.

The 19-year-old is a product of the Elland Road outfit's Academy set-up and made his full debut - after an appearance in the Papa John's Trophy for Leeds' Under 21s - in a Carabao Cup tie against Hull City in September 2020.

He has gained experience in the Premier League and other cup competitions with the Yorkshire club.

Upon joining the club, Cresswell said: "I am here on loan and I am delighted to be here, I am going to be giving my all for this club.

"At this moment in time I am a Millwall player and I will do everything I can to help this club and I hope I can show you all that.
