Welcome to the history of the heavyweight championship of the world.

For each of the next 10 days, Yahoo Sport will release a podcast led by legend Steve Bunce from the golden age of boxing; the 1960s.

We will be covering all the main fights, the stories, characters, outrageous acts, fairy tales, inventions and one or two lies as well.

We start in 1960 with a kid called Cassius Clay and a deposed champion called Floyd Patterson and an improbable world champion called Ingemar Johansson. These were heady days.
