Listowel each-way racing tip: Taylors Three Rock can defy outsider price on season debut

15:20 Listowel: South of Ireland Waste Management Mares' Handicap Hurdle The seven-year-old Taylors Three Rock is still lightly raced, having run in three National Hunt flat races where she postmarked 101 on his debut, and four over hurdles where her highest postmark was 95.

Emmett McNamara trained her for her first NH flat race, but she then moved to Tony Carroll's UK yard, where her form seemed to go backwards last year, with Carroll's yard out of form.

She made her last start for Carroll in her handicap debut last November at Leicester where she led early on but raced too keenly and faded three out before being pulled up. Indeed, keenness has been her main issue throughout.

Taylors Three Rock was put away for the winter and returned recently to McNamara's yard and she has yet to race this year. She makes her seasonal debut today over two miles off a lovely-looking mark of 82, making her look nicely handicapped.

Moreover, connections have applied a hood to help her settle, along with a tongue tie, so maybe there were also breathing difficulties involved. I really like her profile when fresh, as all her best runs were off a break, so today looks like the right time to get involved.

Taylors Three Rock was available at 28/1 in places this morning and while that price has long gone, with most bookies paying out on four places in this wide-open 12-runner handicap, she still carries decent each-way value at any double-digit price. Suggested bet: Taylors Three Rock each-way in the 15:20 at Listowel
