Fortnite's Doomsday live event is finally here after several weeks of delays and waiting.

The event starts at 2 p.m. EST on Monday, June 15 and is expected to bring about massive change ahead of Chapter 2, Season 3. Fans are expecting a new map, although Epic Games has revealed very little about what we can actually expect in Season 3.

Epic Games suggests you arrive to the event 30 minutes early to "secure your spot" as server wait times can be a bit long. How to watch the Fortnite live event

If you want to watch the Fortnite live event in-game, it's pretty simple. Fortnite will shut down other game modes and let you play in a dedicated mode for the live event. Fortnite suggests you arrive to this game mode about 30 minutes early so you can secure a place with heavy servers and longer than usual wait times. Once you're in, the game will be a Team Rumble style until the event is ready to take place. When the event starts, all shooting will be disabled so you can enjoy the experience.

If you want to watch the Fortnite live event without jumping in a game, then there are plenty of options as well. You can find plenty of streamers who will be providing their commentary during the live event on Twitch. You can browse all Twitch channels airing Fortnite here.
