Liverpool have released a 2025 calendar where three stars currently due to be out of contract feature in the first four months of the year. Trent Alexander-Arnold, Mohamed Salah and Virgil van Dijk are now coming towards the end of their respective deals next summer, unless they sign an extension.

In just six weeks, the trio will all be free to discuss pre-contract agreements with clubs overseas as they enter the final six months of their Liverpool deals. Talks with the club are said to be ongoing, however.

While The ECHO understands Salah is keen to remain at Anfield and discussions have been opened with Van Dijk's representatives, there are doubts over Alexander-Arnold's future amid persistent reports of interest from Spanish giants Real Madrid. He's outlined his desire to be Liverpool captain one day - but could only guarantee his future at the club until the end of the season.

The next few months will be crucial as the club tries to tie their players to new deals. With the Reds supporters in need of some news - in that regard - they might have just received it following Liverpool's latest hint.

On the club's website, the new player calendar has been put up for sale. Alisson is seen featured for the month of January, while Alexander-Arnold, Salah and Van Dijk all feature for February, March and April respectively.

But can that be taken to mean anything? Head coach Arne Slot, meanwhile, has remained tight-lipped about the situation surrounding his big-name players. He said: "The contract situation could become a problem if the players don't perform as well as they do at the moment.

"It's also not sure that if they perform not as good anymore that it has anything to do with the contract situation. At the moment, all three of them are in a good place, they all perform really, really, really well.

"There are ongoing discussions between what Virgil said are the people he had to talk with, and that's not me, as you know. I talk to him about other things. Let's wait and see."
