Liverpool fans get first look at Adidas deal as new iconic away kit colors 'leaked'
Liverpool fans may have been given their first glimpse of next season’s away kit with Adidas.
The Reds are expected to switch kit suppliers next season, with reports earlier this year indicating the club is set to move on from Nike and return to Adidas for the 2025/26 season. According to SportBusiness, the deal will run for five season to the 2029/30 campaign.
Liverpool’s kits have been supplied by Nike since 2020, with this season now looking set to be the last for the Oregon-based company.

It’s reported that the deal with Adidas will be worth more than $37m (£30m/€34.8m) base fee Liverpool currently receives from Nike. Despite what seems a low figure compared to other major kit deals, Liverpool is thought to have been attracted by the lure of "Nike's marketing and distribution clout" - which pushes the $37m figure up to around the $65m mark.
It has been suggested though that the Adidas deal will see Liverpool make even more than $65m. It will be the first time the manufacturers have supplied the Reds since 2012, having previously been kit suppliers for six years from 2006, while also offering their services between 1985 and 1996.
Images of the first kit of the new Adidas era have already been supposedly leaked online, with a black goalkeeper shirt reported to be in line for Alisson Becker and new signing Giorgi Mamardashvili. Now, the colors of the away kit are said to have been unveiled.
@FumlerRawk on X (formerly Twitter) claims to have revealed the colors of Liverpool’s away kit for the 2025/26 season to be ‘Wonder White’ and black, possibly with some red involved.
The user also supplies an image of a Mexico national team shirt to demonstrate what ‘Wonder White’ may look like, with the color looking to be a lighter shade of Liverpool’s 2021/22 away kit – fans will no doubt remember that one well from the 5-0 win over Manchester United at Old Trafford.
Liverpool.com says: A white away kit always feels right for Liverpool, and if it is to look similar to the 2021/22 offering, then you can’t really go wrong. That one did become a bit of a favorite with fans, no doubt helped by that momentous win at Old Trafford.
It will be interesting to see what Adidas come out with for next season’s offerings. Hopefully it can prove to be a lucky charm for the Reds.
