Liverpool next five Premier League fixtures compared to Man City and Arsenal after Southampton win
Liverpool successfully capitalise on Manchester City's latest slip-up as they fought from behind to win at Southampton. The Reds will now be looking towards an increasingly difficult set of fixtures if they are to further extend their advantage as Premier League leaders.
Arne Slot's men arrived at St. Mary's Stadium with some amount of pressure to get a good result, though this was the same in previous weeks their challengers had dropped points. After an initial scare they rallied behind Mohamed Salah to win 3-2.
The hosts had first bounced back to claim the advantage after Dominik Szoboszlai netted the opening goal. This included a penalty confirmed by VAR Michael Oliver with 'no conclusive evidence' Andy Robertson's challenge was outside of the box, even though video evidence would suggest otherwise.
