Liverpool are gearing up for their first pre-season without Jurgen Klopp in nine years as Arne Slot has taken the reigns at the club.

Slot took over at Anfield on June 1 following Klopp's departure at the end of the season. This new era may come with both nerves and excitement for supporters who will be eager to see how business in the transfer window will impact the club ahead of the 2024/25 campaign.

The Reds announced earlier this year they would be returning to the United States for their pre-season tour, facing off against rivals Arsenal and Manchester United. Liverpool drew and lost to the Gunners in the Premier League this season while drawing twice with Erik ten Hag's team.

Ahead of their US tour, the club's commercial director Ben Latty said: "We are proud to announce our highly anticipated return to the USA providing a great environment for the squad to prepare for the season ahead. Pre-season tours always present exceptional opportunities for our supporters, the team and our official partners to engage in memorable experiences within a key focus market for the club.

"We know millions of super-passionate American fans love this club and what we stand for, a fact underlined when our televised game with Arsenal in December became the most-watched Premier League game in US history.

"The USA is an important market for the club and our partners; with 67 official supporters clubs, international academies across 12 states, and the USA being the number one international market for our merchandising business."
