It has only been a week since Jürgen Klopp's Liverpool farewell but many of the Reds stars have jetted off on holidays and trips around the world since, making the most of having some spare time.

With this summer set to see the European Championship take place in Germany, the Copa America unfold in the US, and Paris hosting the Olympic Games, which could involve Mohamed Salah, there is going to be plenty of soccer to take in before the Premier League returns. And given that is the case, the players need to make the most of some rare downtime.

But what have the Liverpool players been up to this week? Liverpool.com has compiled a list with plenty of different activities being undertaken. Klopp has found himself a new hobby (alongside giving regular updates on his new Instagram account), with the German playing padel in the sunshine.

Trent Alexander-Arnold and Virgil van Dijk were both spotted at the Monaco Grand Prix. The former was seen spending some more time with Iris Law, the daughter of actor Jude, and later appeared in the pitlane, while the latter was interviewed while on the grid and was earlier eyed hanging out with fellow Dutchman Max Verstappen, the three-time F1 champion Red Bull driver.

"It's a really nice experience," he told Martin Brundle. "Obviously it was always going to be a special experience coming here because it's the whole event but I'm happy to be here."

On Arne Slot's arrival at Anfield, Van Dijk added: "I have full trust in the club and the decisions going forward. It's exciting as well. Obviously, change is always a bit unknown but I've got full confidence and I'm looking forward to the new season already."

Salah has a new look having shaved his head and the Egyptian appears to have been spending some time in the gym this week. He isn't the only Liverpool man keen to continue to improve their physique, with Ibrahima Konaté posting a mirror selfie on Instagram alongside some weights. Even during their relaxation time, the Liverpool stars will keep themselves in top shape, ready to hit the ground running either in pre-season or with their national teams.

Curtis Jones is another to be seen doing something similar. He has been training while on holiday in Dubai after being called into the provisional senior England squad for the upcoming major tournament earlier this week, alongside Joe Gomez and Jarell Quansah, and was put through his paces by Precision Football, a facility in the Middle East that 'gamifies' training.

Darwin Núñez posted a picture of himself on holiday with his wife and child, while new Liverpool boss Arne Slot was snapped eating out in Ormskirk having landed on Merseyside. His first day on the job is officially June 1, but Slot isn't messing about when it comes to settling into his new surroundings and getting used to being in England.
