Liverpool team news vs Bournemouth confirmed as Alisson out and Darwin Nunez decision made
Liverpool’s team has been confirmed for today’s Premier League clash against Bournemouth, with Alisson Becker missing out through injury.
The goalkeeper had been expected to be absent after missing training on Friday. Reds boss Arne Slot had revealed the Brazilian was a major doubt after struggling with a minor injury picked up before Tuesday’s Champions League win over AC Milan.
Caoimhin Kelleher comes in to deputize for Alisson once again, while Vitezslav Jaros is called up to the bench. The 23-year-old is yet to make a senior appearance for Liverpool, although he has been promoted to third-choice goalkeeper this season after a successful loan with Austrian side Sturm Graz.

Slot makes four changes in total to the side that beat AC Milan in the Reds' opening Champions League clash on Tuesday. Darwin Nunez makes his first start of the season as he replaces Diogo Jota.
Andy Robertson and Luis Diaz return to the starting XI after dropping to the bench in Italy, with Kostas Tsimikas and Cody Gakpo not holding onto their starting berths.
The pair are named on the bench along with Jota, while Federico Chiesa is named in a Premier League matchday squad for the first time after making his debut in midweek. There's no room for Wataru Endo in the 20 though, with the Japan international omitted by Slot.
Liverpool confirmed starting XI: Kelleher; Alexander-Arnold, Konate, Van Dijk, Robertson; Gravenberch, Mac Allister; Salah, Szoboszlai, Diaz; Nunez.
Subs: Jaros, Gomez, Chiesa, Jota, Jones, Gakpo, Tsimikas, Quansah, Bradley.
The Reds will be aiming to return to winning ways in the Premier League this afternoon following last weekend's surprise defeat to Nottingham Forest. Slot has sent a message to the Anfield crowd ahead of today's game, urging them to lift his side against Bournemouth.
"My only protestation was about how we played," Slot said in his pre-match press conference on Friday. "We as a team have to be aware that fans need something to get behind the team and I don't think we did that enough.
"If we don't show up enough maybe that can help us if it looks like it might not be our day, but I like to look at ourselves - if we do better than the fans will enjoy what they see. It starts with us doing better tomorrow. But maybe the fans can give us an extra push."
