Liverpool begin a short period without key midfielder Fabinho against Brighton today.

The Brazilian, who would have been suspended anyway, suffered ankle ligament damage against Napoli midweek and will be out until the new year.

The Reds were held by the Italians, but still have an eight-point lead in the league as they chase the title.

Manchester City can cut into that though, as they play in the lunch time kick-off against Newcastle.

Here’s everything you need to know about the game at Anfield.

Prediction

The Reds will have too much firepower in this one at home, but without Fabinho, expect the visitors to have some joy with counter-attacks. Still, a comfortable home win here. 4-1.

Predicted line-ups

Liverpool: Alisson; Alexander-Arnold, Lovren, Van Dijk, Robertson; Oxlade-Chamberlain, Wijnaldum, Milner; Salah, Firmino, Mane

Brighton: Ryan; Montoya, Webster, Dunk, Burn; Alzate, Proper, Stephens, Trossard; Maupay, Connolly

When is it?

The match kicks off at 3pm GMT on Saturday, November 30 at Anfield.

Is the match on TV or is there a live stream?

Unfortunately the game is not available on TV and there is no live stream in the UK due to the ban on TV coverage which is between 2.45pm and 5.15pm.

Odds

Liverpool 2/9

Draw 5/1

Team News

Jurgen Klopp will have to contend without Fabinho, who was suspended anyway, but is now out for several weeks with ankle ligament damage. Naby Keita was ill midweek but could come back into contention.

The Seagulls are without Solly March, due to a groin problem, but their forward options have been boosted by Aaron Connolly’s recovery from a similar issue. While Lewis Dunk is back from suspension.
